The AB 32 is an high performance ocean-going power catamaran with spacious, easy living comfort at its best and with extraordinary fuel efficiency. Successful design studio Albatross Marine Design has developed our new design AB32 power cat as a budget coastal all round weekender, perfect for family or for running small charter business.

The result is an exceptional design, including large spaces and facilities normally only found in larger and more expensive catamarans of 35-40 ft range. This power cat is stable ,reliable and is able to meet a wide variety of customer needs.

The feature of the hull shape: it allows twin 75 until 250HP engines to be installed. The boats hull is optimized for range of semi-planning speeds 17-34 kts but can be used successfully at planning speeds. Measures have been taken to provide softness of ride and inimization of wave/spray making by increased deadrise in front half of bottom, spray-rails and chine flats profile. The boat tested with twin FNM HPE 200 diesels with shaft drives makes easily 30 kts of speed at full load condition (version D heavy weight finished and full optional boat) in a rough condition of sea with waves and wind, demonstrated very good performance and comfort in seaway

This is a successful result of a detailed analysis of resistance-speed that has been performed using different methods. Methods for monohulls known as Groot (semidisplacement) and Savitski (planning) were applied adding hull interaction factors from Muler Graf and Doubrovski. Methods of resistance prediction for catamarans developed by Molland (round bilge) and Australian Maritime College (sharp chine) have been used.

An important feature of this design is the shallow draft of AB32 that enables operation in shallow areas and makes picturesque islands and remote beaches easily accessible. The boat can be beached during tide P-brackets are studied to protect the propellers, also from fishing nets and floating debris.

Some phase of the construction.

The interior is designed by Albatross in 4 different finishing versions all with light materials, but finishing is not just basic luxury touch is added. Saloon can be in carpet or teak floor and a variety of choose of wood essences from teak to light birch veneer, with white or cream gelcoat and soft PVC panels on ceiling. Carpet or teak floor can be used in cabins on ceiling, sides and bulkheads, with wooden trim where appropriate all with an open bespoke building program with the customer

The boat has saloon with L-shaped sofa, table and galley, 3 bedrooms with double beds and hanging lockers, very spacious toilet/shower. Option with 2 cabins with 2 toilets/showers is also available but not recommended for the size of the vessel. Aft cockpit is designed in single level enabling easy moving around. Spacious flybridge is fitted with main steering station (available also double station with an extra helm on salon), plenty of seating, sunbed, BBQ area. Engine rooms are separated from accommodation spaces by watertight soundproof bulkheads. No engine under bunk solution feature of most cats designed by Albatross, especially for tropics. Generator, batteries and all machinery equipment as extra equipments could also placed in engine rooms, plus storage for dive tanks.

Deck hatches, cabin and side windows with built-in opening Lewmar Flush portlights provide light and efficient airflow for saloon and cabins. Systems engineering includes plumbing with cold water (Hot water extra system available) also for transom showers, deck wash system, bilge pumps, vents/blowers, LPG supply to galley and flybridge available. Air-conditioning system delivering 24,000BTU it could be an extra must have item for tropical climate. In general the boat is designed to category inshore of European RCD, compliance with category B is possible.

For Power Cat lovers, the new SiamCat 45 ft is now available, built for your pleasure, with elegant lines and high specifications, without putting a big dent in your pocket.

If you’re looking for a really roomy and high performance power catamaran, with greatstability and passage-making performance, the new Siam Cat 45 is one very impressive little composite yacht at a very affordable price and built strictly to ISO 9001standards!!
After built the AB32 and marketing it, we discovered that many boat dealers and private customers and now requesting a bigger cat.? We started to consider designing a larger model on the same nice lines. After much research and listening to current and past customers as to what they would like, we decided to proceed with design of AB 42 and AB45. Two preliminary plans were written and presented to our potential customers and immediately we were given the go ahead by a very eager buyer! The AB45 is already visible right now in construction in our yard.

Our Main goal is to offer hand crafted, detailed quality at the right price: you get a composite power cat at a fraction of price of other suppliers, built cost effectively in Asia, much cheaper than boats from Europe or in the West. For comparison, we calculate the AB45 is priced close to half of many international brands and even as low as a third of many US brands of its category. Siam Cat it is built by Italian managed company in Thailand with European quality and following high standard using the finest imported materials and craftsmen available.

Designing the AB45 we had two major design criteria:?we wanted a long range, very fuel-efficient cruising catamaran but with the same Italian inspired style lines of the AB32; we did not want it to look like many other catamarans, boxy and square. The AB45 introduces elegant, ground breaking innovations in comfort, safety and performance. This new breed of power catamaran is designed by architect Albert Nazarov of Albatross Marine Design following Siam Cat requirements.

Built using the latest technology and materials, the AB45 integrates an open-plan layout with exceptional interior volume, offering a comfortable power cat that combines spacious accommodations with superior performance levels.

She features outdoor and indoor dining areas, a fully equipped galley, spacious saloon with forward facing navigation station, and a cocktail bar off the galley. Available in 3 or 4 cabin configurations with en suite lavatories and stall showers plus?plenty of storage space, ventilation, and lighting.

On the flybridge, a front centrally positioned helm station is covered by a bimini or hardtop roof and offers excellent visibility on all corners of the yacht for ease of maneuvering. Complete with wrap around seating for 8, a wet bar, BBQ, cooler, and drink holders, the flybridge is the perfect place to take in the scenery.

The Siam Cat AB45 Powercat contains all of the top features sailors desire, including blue water capability, great performance, composite construction, a superb anchoring system, excellent ventilation, high quality equipment, large tank capacities, and much more. The Siam Cat AB45 integrates an open-plan layout with exceptional interior volume, offering a comfortable power cat that combines spacious accommodations with reliable and proven performance and efficiency.

The Siam Cat Power Catamaran AB45 is designed with plenty of storage space, ventilation and lighting. The deck layout is clear and uncluttered, with walk-through access to the aft swim platform and wide side decks.

Interior can be customized in a large variety of finishing levels, following customer requirements, all with light materials, but finishing is not just basic luxury touch can be added. Saloon can be in carpet or teak floor and a variety of choose of wood essences from teak to light birch veneer, with white or cream gelcoat and soft composite or PVC panels on ceiling. Carpet or teak floor can be used in cabins on ceiling, sides and bulkheads, with wooden trim where appropriate all with an open bespoke building program with the customer.

Different layouts available:

As always there are always lots of choices when a designer designs, a builder builds and an owner chooses his Catamaran. We offer two basic different solutions in layout, a Cruiser 3 cabin Owner version and a Charter 4+2 cabin version but custom solutions can be requested all time and finalized together with the client in a bespoke program with our designer.

Our new affordable 9.5 meters outboard power catamaran was specifically designed by our Naval Architect and Yacht designer Albert Nazarov under our request of a boat really practical to use on exotic sea waters.

We believe that the result it is the best solution of cruising under coasts, diving boat, party boat, resort service boat, taxi boat, resort customers day charter and pleasure fishing. This Cat has a concept of a party boat without cabin.

The reasons is that in Thailand is easy find cheap accommodations even on the islands, therefore also who own a very well equipped yacht, normally sleeps on the land and the cabins are useless. Anyway we kept the WC and the kitchen on the deck to give ti opportunity of make parties.

There is in any case the possibility to add a semi rigid enclosure all around the roof, and just a toilet under the driver helm.

The propulsion is given by two economical outboard motors, 2 per 75 hp, 2 or 4 stroke until two 120 powerful engines.

Relatively high speed and seaworthy capability. Easy to build in light composite honeycomb cored sandwich and for this reason of an affordable budget even built following highest marine standard and all CE rules.
